How do I reach this buffet?

We are interested in finding an optimal way to find our way, through a crowd, to a buffet. We will have a look to a probabilistic tool (backward SDE) to answer this problem. Afterwards, we will look at the asymptotic (crowd too big) problem and the large time behaviour of the 'finite' problem toward the asymptotic one. 

Nous souhaitons trouver un moyen optimal d'accéder, au travers d'une foule, à un buffet. Nous regarderons un outil probabiliste (EDS rétrograde) afin de répondre à cette question. Après quoi, nous regarderons le problème asymptotique (la foule est trop grande) ainsi qu'au comportement en temps long du problème 'finit' vers l'asymptotique.
